Recently I was involved in a great project at the Vermont Law School in Randolph VT. They specialize in environmental law so when they were getting ready to build a new addition it was designed and built with a keen eye towards a "green" building project. They used all local builders and local materials, which were harvested in a certified manner. They asked members of the Guild of Vermont Furniture makers to build over 200 pieces of furniture with FSC certified lumber. It was quite a feat to coordinate the numerous small shops throughout Vermont to build all of the furniture and the end result was great. I can now say I made it to law school!
